The International Consortium for Agricultural Systems Applications envisions a future characterized by broad acceptance of systems-oriented methodologies in agriculture and natural resources. To make this vision a reality, ICASA's goal is to advance national and international agricultural systems research through the development and application of compatible and complimentary systems analysis tools and methodologies. This goal includes, but is not limited to, the use of crop simulation models because of their increasing importance in decision support systems tailored for use by researchers and decision makers at field, farm, watershed, regional and national scales.
